COURT USE:
- All courts are on a first come, first serve basis. Note: See Rule #5 regarding challenge courts.
- To obtain a court, there must be a minimum of two people either playing or practicing volleyball.
- A court cannot be “saved” by putting an article of clothing, chair, beach blanket, or towel on court.
- If all courts are full, the minimum player requirement increases to four and maximum play will be two hours.
The sand is natural, very thin, one of the best for beach volley. It can get a bit windy sometimes.
There are additional poles located at 9th Street and Beach Blvd. and public can bring their own nets.
volley ball,touch rugby, soccer and even places where you can have a work out on the “gym” type bars. Loved the little restaurants right on the beach. Great prawns and beer. Bars, restaurants all along the beach. Nightly art market as well.
